Not since the WWJD bracelet has something taken the Christian subculture by storm quite like LEFT BEHIND. The novel based on the book of Revelation spawned multiple sequels, prequels, junior novels, comic books, an audio series, and three movies. So naturally it was only a matter of time before someone came along to poke fun at it.

LEFT OVERS is a parody, but it's also a commentary on the LEFT BEHIND phenomenon. Sad but true, there are many among the LEFT BEHIND faithful who have come to accept the books as, well, scripture. Forget the fact that prophecy is never intended to give us a clear picture of the future. We KNOW what's going to happen, thanks to Tim and Jerry (and Kirk, of course).
